Software Development Manager

London, UK

As the Software Development Manager, you are responsible for the development and delivery of our microservices based SaaS, IoT and application products and will manage the offshore teams. You will work hand in hand with the Product, Project and QA teams to bring the products to market, maintain them and deliver the roadmap. You will lead a diverse and distributed engineering function across different technical disciplines. In this role you will have a strong focus on planning, process and delivery whilst still maintaining daily closeness to the development work, testing and architecture. As a key member of the engineering management team your role is to ensure the engineering group is structured and organized effectively to deliver on the requirements of the business and our customers.

QA Engineer

London, UK

As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for creating and performing tests around products and associated infrastructure. These include but are not limited to stability tests, simulated deploys and Load / Performance testing.  You will work with other team members to own the test process for the projects and be the test expert in the platform and its products. You will understand the cloud, camera / gateway and App infrastructure, the databases and services which build up the product and have complete knowledge of each and every feature of the user interface. You should be able to test the product at every level including the DevOps and deployment processes.

Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and tech-curious Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team working with all the businesses within the ONVU Tech Group. While reporting to the Marketing Director, you will work closely with the rest of the Marketing team as well as the Product and Program Management teams, Business Development and the Regional Sales Teams.

You will have responsibility across the company for all Product Marketing activities. You will be responsible for analysing the market, competitive intelligence, planning product / solution launches, gathering feedback from customers and partners, producing sales tools and marketing collaterals.

Digital and Social Media Manager

As a Digital and Social Media Manger, you will be responsible for websites, digital and social media activities across the ONVU Technologies Group. You will be asked to keep all social profiles and websites up to date, and work alongside the rest of the Marketing Team to develop the digital and social media strategy for the Group.

The role will suit a Marketing professional with experience in digital and social media within the technology industry. This individual will work across the different companies within the ONVU Technologies group, and will be supporting the Marketing Director, the broader Marketing Team, and the wider commercial Organisation, reporting to the VP Commercial.

What is your background?

I’ve always had a natural instinct to want to know how things work. After completing my Bachelors Degree at The University of Huddersfield in Electrical & Electronics Engineering I was fortunate to be offered a post graduate position at Panasonic in their security division. During my 10 years with the company I had exposure to a wide variety of roles and technologies before moving to Axis Communications as one of their European Sales Engineers.

Why did you choose to work for Oncam?

After nearly 15 years working for 2 of the industry giants, focusing just on the security market, Oncam offered me an opportunity to widen my skills and knowledge and take their market-leading 360⁰ technology into applications and innovative solutions outside of the security industry.

What do you like about working for Oncam?

The technology and the future vision of the company are what drives me but the people are what really make it. Culture is very important in any organization and I feel at Oncam I’ve found a core team who share my passion for technology and inspire me every day to work better and smarter.

What is your background?

Prior to joining Oncam, I worked in the hospitality industry where I held various managerial roles. I worked in this industry for 7 years before I decided to branch out into other verticals and Oncam happened to be looking for a Sales Operations Manager. I applied and haven’t looked back since – this was 9 years ago! I moved away from the Sales Department in 2014, when I started my current position in the marketing department. I completed a diploma in Digital Marketing from DMI during this period and I also hold a Business Economics degree from Säffle, Sweden.

Why did you choose to work for Oncam?

From the top down, you get swept up in the enthusiasm and passion, and the fact that we want to do things differently and go against the norm daily. We have so many talented and skilled people in the business, and learning from them was a big draw for me.

What do you like about working for Oncam?

Two things – the technology and the people! We have an amazing culture across the globe and, in my opinion, Oncam really is one of the best companies to work for. The drive, passion and team spirit is like nothing I have ever encountered before. We truly are ONE TEAM.

What is your background?

I am an Industrial Psychologist with a master in industrial psychology. After finishing my post-graduation in Psychology, I started working as a Research Associate in one of India’s reputed educational Institution (IPE), which is also one of the top business schools in India, where I got chance to explore more about Human Resource Management. After getting married, I moved to London where I gained certifications in software testing. I am now continuing my career in testing.

Why did you choose to work for Oncam?

Oncam has given me the opportunity to explore more about backend testing and also given me a chance to learn more about networking. When I joined Oncam I started testing various Network Video Recorders, where I got the opportunity to do integration testing between various reputed NVR’s with our surveillance cameras.

What do you like about working for Oncam?

Oncam is establishing its unique identity in the market. We all work as a family and I feel happy and proud to be part of our company success. I was easily able to fit in with the culture at Oncam and the company understands my motivations. Oncam has great respect for its employees and it creates a great environment for rewarding innovation.

Shaleen Amin

What is your background?

After completing my degree in Business with Human Resource Management at the University of Greenwich, I’ve been in HR since 2014 and have worked as a HR Generalist for a global pharmaceutical company and a care home group. The more exposure I have had, the more I want to help people fulfil their potential. This is one of the reasons why I am now studying towards a professional HR qualification with a forward-thinking company.

Why did you choose to work for Oncam?

It’s amazing to be a part of a global technology company that is evolving and gives back to society in many ways. I’ve been given an opportunity to work with such a passionate and inspirational company that allows me to learn and grow, whilst also maintaining a work-life balance.

What do you like about working for Oncam?

It’s the people that make Oncam. We go through ups and downs, we work hard and play hard, you may call it team work, but I call it family. It can be unnerving when joining a new company, especially in a sector you’ve not previously worked in, but hearing people’s success stories at Oncam are what led me to believe I’ve made the right decision.
